I think anonymous sources often have nothing to lose being honest about how they see any topic. Noone can hunt them down, threaten them, or intimidate them into being quiet because someone threatens them into submission. -- Maggie Many, many people have been stalked and doxed because they used a nym that could be traced by crazy morons. The fact that some denigrate the source because it was posted by someone using a remailer shows what closed minded fools they really are. Their way or the highway. Ignore these morons. Some in the group will find my posts worth reading and considering. Let's face it, almost all the posters left on Usenet are here because they cannot function in a Web forum. Their attitudes would have them censored from the forum in short order. In other words, they are always angry and contentious, and cannot function in a structured forum. My reason for staying out of those forums is because one is always traceable on the Web after signing up for a forum. Who I am, where I am, should make no difference to anyone. If it does, it proves that the anti-privacy complainers are interested in more than just the message. One of these morons stated: "There is no Nomen Nescio as it is an anonymous mailer for people that don't have the balls to be traced. Not a trusted source of anything." He's too stupid to realize the "source" is the URLS, not the poster. And what need is there for someone to "trace" any poster? I also use Tor for mere browsing. So, I guess that makes me doubly dubious. Great reasoning, fellas. : o ) |
