not the ACLU. There may be truth to it, the ACLU has supported the NRA

Yes, I'm aware of that lawsuit and that the NRA supported the NRA two years
ago. This OANN story apparently claims that the NRA just said this about
the current NY AG lawsuit against the NRA. That is the lawsuit in the news
currently and if you Google, nothing comes up about the ACLU commenting on
that.
