In a parts per million basis they MAY have more lead than incandescent or flourescent bulbs - but there is a lot less of the bulb to start with. The led "chip" is pretty tiny. The driver circuitry CAN be built with lead free solder. - and remember - a GOOD LED will take the place of 10 or more of the older bulbs. |
