Mystery sound in my kitchen

I'm hoping that someone can help. We have a very high pitch sound, somewhere in our kitchen that we can not find. We even shut off the electricity to the whole house to see if we could localized it. Still there with no electric! I am absolutely stumped. Brad This thread saved my sanity - I don't own a meat thermometer so I was able to rule that out right away - turned out to be an overhead light bulb that was on its way out, which someone else suggested here as a potential cause. As soon as I flipped off the lights - voila! Blessed quiet. Thank you! |
