The German town of Wunsiedel had a problem back in the late 2000s. Nazi
terrible person Rudolf Hess had been buried there after the war, after the local Lutheran church accepted the charge. Neo-Nazi idiots and other white supremacists would pilgrimage to the town. The town exhumed Hesss bones in 2011 to get rid of the stench wafting off of the €śpilgrims.€ť But that didnt stop neo-Nazi wannabes from marching in the town every year. So, a couple of years ago they had a plan, that was reported on in the Guardian. Without the marchers knowledge, local residents and businesses sponsored the 250 participants of the march on 15 November in what was dubbed Germanys €śmost involuntary walkathon€ť. For every metre they walked, ‚¬10 went to a programme called EXIT Deutschland, which helps people escape extremist groups. Campaigners hung humorous posters to make the march look more like a sporting event, with slogans such as €śIf only the FĂĽhrer knew!€ť and €śMein Mampf€ť (my munch) next to a table laden with bananas. They even hung a sign at the end, thanking the marchers for their €śdonations€ť. AHAHAHAHAHAHA. [wipes tears from eyes, sighs] Anyway, this wasnt the first time an idea like this was employed to fight the dunder-heads that think they are superior to the rest of the world. In 1998, activists used an Aryan Nation parade in Idaho city Coeur dAlene, celebrating Hitlers birthday, to fundraise for human rights. Taking an idea from a town in Pennsylvania, area human rights advocates are asking for pledges based on the duration of the Aryan parade. For example, donors would give a dollar for every minute the Aryans march. Proceeds collected locally would be split between the Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations and the Northwest Coalition Against Malicious Harassment. Human rights groups across the country will be encouraged to use the Coeur dAlene parade to raise money for their local groups. Time to get some midterm elections funded! |

Which midterms would those be? Coeur hasn't had a right wing parade since the SPLC sued Aryan Nations into oblivion at the end of the last century. |
