I purchased a Samsung range that only goes down to 36" with the legs screwed
all the way in. Because we had new flooring added our counter tops are 3/8" to low. The slide in range lip is thus 3/8" above the counter. I could cut away part of the flooring under the stove. But I worry when later someone tries to slide it out it will catch on the higher flooring toward the room. Any suggestions. I thot of cutting the flooring on an angle to make a sort of ramp? Not sure if that would work. -- for full context, visit https://www.homeownershub.com/mainte...s-1125437-.htm |

Not being able to see the range legs I don't know if they can be modified, but that is a possibility if the feet can be changed. If you cannot do that, cut the floor so it fits. Chances are the range will not be moved for years and it is not a big deal to lift the range and get it over the edge. -- for full context, visit https://www.homeownershub.com/mainte...s-1125437-.htm |

Had I put tile under my dishwasher it would not have fit in the space under the counter. Cousin Rocket Man |

Cousin Rocket Man I allowed for the thickness of a half inch of tile backer board and 3/8" for tile when I designed the kitchen ... but that's kinda moot since I have only put up a countertop with a shelf under at this point . -- Snag |
