Carol,

If it's like mine then the dirty water collection reservoir is located at
the bottom. Is the leak there? Remember that water flows downhill. A leak
someplace higher up will put water at the bottom.

Nothing is worse than having steam leak in public. Some orifice

A few years ago, here in Birmingham, a buried steam pipe in the street burst under a parked car a block from the University Hospital. The occupants of the car were seriously burned. A steam leak in public can be very dangerous and lead to the cooking of humans. o_O
