Septic tank field lines
My field lines only, not the tank, has roots that need to be killed. The most common treatment seems to be copper sulfate, and it's expensive. Salt is much cheaper(.50c/lb for table salt) and it will kill roots. With an access pipe at the output of the tank/input to field, anything can be dumped down it. Has anyone tried putting salt into the field lines?
