Is this a dedicated shower, or is it a bathtub with a tub and shower faucet?

If you have a bath instead of a shower, do you get the same smell?

What is on the walls in the shower area of your bathroom? Is it ceramic tile or some kind of covering that wouldn't allow water to leak behind it?

Do like I did -- stop taking showers. And if you're married, you'll discover that this change solves dozens of other problems as well.
