Some interesting history and lists of catalogs, etc., but apparently no
actual tool datasheets, unfortunately...

We used to buy parts for our impact wrenches and drills at the
local TruValue store. I don't have the foggiest idea if it was just
that store or the TruValue chain. It's now an Ace Hardware for whatever
reason.
I don't remember if they would get parts for any brand or just the
brands they sold.

Followup -- success!!!!

Nothing but a broken lead to one of the brushes. It's a very old (as is
obvious being the Millers Falls brand) style w/ the rotating brushes to
control the direction instead of a reversing switch. On peculiarity is
that the switch has a pair of contacts that make/break power and another
than make continuity of the cord neutral and the second brush return
path. This had been bypassed sometime long ago and the two connected
directly by a wire nut. That set of closed contacts and the two stubs
of wire confused the issue for a while as to what was going on which is
why was looking for a wiring diagram.

But, finally opened the switch to see that indeed those two contacts
were deliberately shorted and not a switch failure and then all made
sense...
