Just a thought in passing. My family has little
idea what I do, day to day. I'm guessing the
same with paramedics. Perhaps at the thank you
dinner, you can invite your angels, and several
of their family members. Their family might not
know what they really do at work.

Where I live, the FD and EMTs are all volunteers.
Anything they use when off duty is bought with donations.
