From article 420282 (2/1/2011 12:08:20 AM) to article 426985 (2/28/2011
11:58:49 PM)

Number of threads ................... 350
Number of articles .................. 6709
Average articles per thread ......... 19.17
Number of unanswered posts .......... 43

What does 43 mean?

Doesn't there have to be at least as many unanswered posts as there
are threads?

I wonder what the mechanism is...

Is it threads going x or xx days with no new posts?

Is it threads with only 1 post and no followup?

I think you are thinking too hard. Besides, if it was a thread, it
would have to be answered.

THREAD €“ A thread is a sequential listing of related postings following
a starting post. For example, you may post €˜I really liked the new
Spiderman film. In response, a thread would start where people would
type in replies to your posting agreeing or disagreeing with you. You
would then be able to scroll down the €˜thread to read all the
responses.

The unanswered posts are covered in Number of articles = 6709

So are you saying if there is only one post in a thread, it's not
really a thread?

How do you fell about the nul set?

One post does not constitute a thread. I don't understand your second
question.
