Can anyone tell me where to find replacement inlet filters for a
Whirlpool washing machine? Here's the valve with the filters visible inside. http://www.apwapplianceparts.com/Sto...aspx?Id=782617 |

That could be it, but it looks different. The ones I see are just a piece of screen wire. Maybe this one is better. Thanks |

Searching for "screen washer" helped me locate this part, which seems like the ticket. http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDeta...n/96160/745872 Thanks, again! |

Lets us know how this works out. I just found them for less than $1.50 each shipped. That's great. http://www.pwslaundry.com/i-7803269-...-filter-2.html My next idea is to supplement this filter with an external filter. The in-laws have a lot of crap in their water. I'd like to trap it before it gets to the washing machine inlet filter. |

Those will lift out and clean with CLR and replace. Also a good idea to use the ones Oren showed to put in the inlet end of hose where it attaches to the faucet. Next time easier to get to and clean WW Long time in washer repair service.(retired) |
