my door is locked shut . Its the handle mechanism that has fell apart . I removed the door handle and when i withdrew the square bolt bits fell out . These bits were part of the locking mechanism to operate the multi-point system which is the hook type with 3 hooks into the frame . can anyone help me to get this door open as my two dogs really desparate to get out

Who has a house with only one door for entry? "Spammer" is not the correct word, but Troll is.... I agree, all houses have at least 2 doors. And how is the guy able to post this without getting inside to use his computer? Granted, he could be using a public computer or a neighbors, but by the time he posted this, he could have gone to a hardware store or locksmith for advice and tools..... Or crawled into a basement window, or something. Plus, the lock generally can not be removed from the outside. The screws are always inside..... |
