As far as the copper flex being dielectric connectors - no, they're
not unless they are specifically listed as such.

Thanks, R, I believe I've seen some that seem to isolate the galvanized
pipe from the copper with a rubber or neoprene washer between the copper
flex and the galvanized pipe and a stiff plastic sleeve that insulates
the brass nut from the copper flex

the best solution is replacing the galvanized with PEX, or if your
wealthy copper

galavanized is just a leak or clog waiting to occur
