Default Paint over Fiberglass Tub Patch

I recently repaired a small hole in my Fiberglass tub with an autobody
repair kit. The tub holds water without leaking, but I would like to paint
over the repaired area. Are there any aerosol-based paints that would work
for this application and stand up to the abuse?

Thanks in Advance,
-a12vman

Go to a boat store and look for a gelcoat repair kit. Fiberglass tubs
are a whole lot like fiberglass boats just inside out :-)

Tough as Tile comes in a kit of two spray cans(2 coats);
it's designed for tub refinishing. I saw it at Lowes.

BUT,you can't clean with abrasive cleaners like Ajax,or use bleach.
Bleach causes yellowing.The kit directions mention this and suggest Simple
Green as a cleaner.

None of those solution hold up as well as the original finish. Which
is gelcoat. Which can be bought in kits to fix tubs and at your local
boat store.
