Default Painting Galvanized drip edge

I'd be thinking a spray bottle of Simple Green, and a scrub
brush. Rinse with garden hose. Oh, be sure to know that I'm
not a painter, and I'm probably totally wrong, here.

Anything I can wipe it down with that evaporates fast?
Surely, I
cannot haul a bucket of water and TSP on ladder all day
(rinse clean).

The fascia board is down to wood and only the drip prep is
needed for
prime/paint.
