Default how likely a thrown circuit-breaker does NOT show red?

The question comes down to: none of them shows red, none is clearly
positioned differently from any other one on the board -- yet a
circuit (upstairs) is dead.

What might be the problem?

How to troubleshoot it?

Thanks!

David
