OK to combine neutrals in a fixture?
Aaron Fude wrote:
Hi, I'm installing a vent/heater/night light/light combination. In its junction box, it has four hots and four neutral wires. Is it OK to splice the neutrals together at the fixture's own junction box? (If yes, then how come they give you four?) Depends on what you're splicing them to...it would be possible to power various parts from differing circuits in which case they shouldn't be joined except to the proper neutral. -- |
