Default home alarm system

I have pulled off the ac plug off the wall and the battery from the
alarm system to stop the alarm from ringing b/c the battery ran out of
juice. I have replaced a new SLA battery but didn't plug the plug into
the wall, and the alarm starts ringing again. I wonder if there's
something that I can do to fix this problem before calling the alarm
company. Any insights would be very helpful. Thanks.

Hi,
If alarm is on, you have to pull trouble code to see what is causing it.
Is the battery fully charged?

The replacement battery does not come precharged. You need to plug the alarm
system into the wall, then attach the battery.

I charged the battery myself before plugging the alarm system to the
wall and the standby battery.

Not with that dismally tiny bit of information.
