Black Patches on indoor outdoor carpet
My 15 year old boat has black patches on the indoor outdoor carpet. It
appears to be old mildew. Vinegar and baking soda didn't touch it. Carpet cleaner doesn't work. Any suggestions appreciated. |

Did you try some of that "Oxy-Clean" stuff they advertise on TV ? It seems to clean everything (in their ads) I think its sold in most hardware stores or WalMart |

Black Patches on indoor outdoor carpet
I've had good luck with one of these handheld steamers. For my swimming
pool carpet, I would use pool shock. Wet the carpet, sprinkle it on, broom it, hose it off. WARNING: Always test for color fastness first. My experience has most of these spots occuring where people spill things. When it happens, a complete flushing with water is needed to get the sugar out. "Norminn" wrote in message ...
