How do I fix a leaking toilet?

How do I fix a leaking toilet?
anime,
No you can not fix the porcelain reliably. You'll need to replace both the toilet and your friend. Thanks for the ads but I won't go to your site. Dave M. |

Would there be an easy way to fix this or do I have to replace the entire toilet all together. You'll have to replace the toilet. As for the idiot who placed the water proof fire cracker in your toilet, I suggest you tie him to a post, pull his pants down, lubricate a water proof fire cracker, shove it up his ass, light the fuse and have a video camera on hand then post the video on YouTube. Yeah that is what we did but you missed the point of the post. Then why did you ask "do I" if it was done already, fella? No, there was no "easy way" to fix it, and probably no "hard way" which could work successfully without costing over a hundred times more than a new toilet does. When you break a drinking glass, do you try and fix it, or just replace it? Jeff -- Jeffry Wisnia (W1BSV + Brass Rat '57 EE) The speed of light is 1.8*10^12 furlongs per fortnight. |

My aunt Maude was right when she taold me, "Jeff, for a bright kid you do stupid pretty good sometimes." Congrats animecyberrat, I like to think I don't get conned too often but this was one of those days when I should have stayed in bed. When I left to drive to work today I found out that someone had broken into my car and swiped my cell phone, charger and the "toll change" from the armrest, leving it open so I noticed immediately. Then the handset cord on my office phone parted company with one of it's plugs (olde age), and now I fall for something so obvious in a newsgroup post. All anoying trivialities compared to what those poor *******s buried in that coal mine and their families are going through. Thinking of them sort of puts things in proper perspective, doesn't it?
