I used to patch tires when I was a kid pumping gas at a home service
station. I would suggest a vulcanizing glue for inner tubes found at any
reputable hardware store. The glue comes with prep solution and then glue.
BTW a canvas air matress is a rubber innertube shielded with canvas.

If not then......

Coleman brand sells such repair kits for this type of problem....Jim
