Default Witex laminate floor buckled in kitchen

Has anyone had experience fixing the glue-less flooring? My floor has
been perfect for about 5 years, but recently buckled in the kitchen,
when I installed a new dishwasher...Should I be able to pick up the
affected area and lay it back down? Would I want to put it back down
the way it came up? thanks

A floating floor needs to be able to float. It sounds like you placed a
bunch of appliances and such on it? The weight will prevent it from
floating.

Pull the board out, cut it in two lengthwise, put it back. The saw kerf
will let it flatten but it'll look like crapola.

The floor had been fine for 5 years. I replaced the dishwasher and
put in a 3/4" filler under the dishwasher, but forgot to leave a gap
between the plywood and flooring. I took the filler piece out and cut
it to make an inch gap, but my floor has buckled in a 3' area. I
could try moving the fridge out of the area and see if that might
allow it to flatten out. I really don't want to pull up the flooring,
but it looks to me like I have to. Appreciate any advise you might
have.
