Electrolux central vac question
anyone have any experience with them ? was just using mine, and it looks like the low voltage control board might've quit. i toggled the on/off switch on the handle too quickly by mistake (ie. was on, went to off position, then quickly on) - now it won't shut off (the motor). from looking it up, seems the electrolux boards had a high failure rate (this unit is 10 yrs old though, and i guess i got my moneys worth). anyone have experience repairing them ? TIA |

TIA Does the central vac startup when you short the two terminals on the wall plug? If so then it's the handle switch. Take it apart and clean, repair or replace the switch. Failing that, wire the switch permanently on, and use the wall plug as a "switch" |
