Default fawcet noise

when running water into the kitchen sink i have noticed a noise, like
a low whine from the hot water faucet but not the cold water side, is
this signaling problems with the hot water heater? tia

ok, thanks, they were replaced a few months ago, guess i need to bring
that plumber back.

Try cleaning the aerator first. Just unscrew it and rinse it out
backwards, be careful it dosen't come apart. If you have hard water
soak it in vinegar for a few hours.

so far so good, no whine, didn't see any deposits or any of the holes
clogged, did a reverse flow, didn't soak because no deposits were
visible...thanks
