Default warped panelling

Does anyone have any ideas as to why wall panelling would warp? It's
4x8 sheets, applied directly onto a finished wall with drywall over
studs. The warping is occuring on every wall, interior and exterior. It
was nailed on every stud, 6 - 8" spacing. Very strange.
Thanks for your help.

Very strange indeed. Are the nails still holding or did they pull out?
Did the warping materialize with temp or humidity changes? Thats all I
could think of. Google "wood movement"

Some panelling types are just prone to do that when
humidity/moisture gets too high, and especially if the pieces are
butted right up against one another, with or without the seam
covers applied.
