There are a lot of things it could be. I assume you already tried some
cleaning. I sure hope nobody tried anything harsh like Acetone or cleaners containing it (some window cleaners do) as it would damage the finish directly. I wouldn't even use Denatured Alcohol (isopropyl perhaps but no other kinds). Look at a light's reflection in the area of the stain. Does it look like it is on the surface or etched into the clearcoat (presumably polyurethane but could be other things if it was factory applied). TSP or similar is often used to degrease cabinets, try a variety of non abrasive cleaners. Dish detergent may work but don't use anything solvent based. wrote in message ups.com... stains on cabinet kitchen......pls help ************************************************** * We have some very light colored kitchen wooden cabinets with transparent poly paint.
