Hi,
I am going to lay about 300 sq ft of pavers. Will be using a compacted crushed stone subbase then sand then pavers. Most sources say to use 4-6 inches of subbase material then compact. My question is, how deep will that 4-6 inches of loose crushed stone be once it is compacted? I need to know this in order to know how much to excavate. Thanks a lot. Doug |
