How much to reline a chimney?
Existing 30 ft masonry chimney, through center of house up from
basement fireplace to roof. I want to reline it with an insulated stainless steel liner down to a T though the wall just above the fireplace, which will no longer be used. Guy wants $2500, says it will take 1/2 day max, 4 people. Materials cost him around $500-$700. Reasonable? Thanks! -Dean |

Does that include the city inspection fees and how long is the warranty, do they need special equiment? You need to do it right or the insurance company will balk. |
