Default Fridge Line Cleansing

Is there a way to clean the water line inside of a refrigerator? I herd of
people pouring bleach or other cleaners in to the filter and running water
through. Is this recommended?

Hi,

Water tank/reservoir is normally behind the crispers in the fresh food
section.
Most of these are not cleaned, they are replaced when they give us a
problem. If you want to clean it inside you would have to use your own
ingenuity to come up with a way to cut the tubing and clean it inside
and then reattach the tubing back together with a coupler/connector.

Worth a try!

But would it take a herd of people or could one try to do this by
themselves?

??

Can't see why someone could not try this....if it fails or doesn't help
the lines and water tank/resevoir can be changed.
