Default shower curtain black stuff

I've got some black stuff growing on my shower curtain. Any ideas as
to what it is and how to get rid of it? I'm guessing mold, but I doubt
just spraying it with anti-mold stuff will completely eliminate it.

Yes it's mold and yes spraying it with Tilex Mold/Mildew spray will kill it.

Take it to the laundramat and wash it. Or throw it away and get a new on.

I'm a big fan of this method. I throw it in my front loader along with the
small rug that sits by the bathroom sink, load the machine with soap and a
generous amount of bleach and let the machine do the rest. I just hang the
Curtin back up on the shower rod and let it drip dry. Saves buying a new
shower Curtin and you don't have to mess with smelly mildew killers and all
the soap scum is washed away, too.

More likely mildew than mold. Trash that curtain, and dehumidify the
bathroom. If the smell doesn't drive you nuts, and you're old enough
to not be worrying about cancer, hang one of those benzene-releasing
mothball slabs in the room. Find some way to add some UV light to
the shower enclosure, but not when you're in there. Hose it
down every few days with a mild bleach solution. (does vinigar kill
mildew?)

You bought a cheap vinyl product made with the wrong plasticizer, that is,
a plasticizer that supports mold growth.

Replace it with a well made one, or spend the rest of your life cleaning
this one.
