Vinyl floor tiles
I've read the posts on vinyl floor tiles, and learned a lot actually. I have
vinyl floor tiles in the kitchen and bath, that were here when I bought this house, and I have a question. Is there any way to put anything on them, to 'seal' it. They are still in great shape, it looks like the previous owner installed them just before selling. But, I end up spending most weekends hand cleaning the floor, because I'm afraid water will seep between them.. if that makes sense. Is there anything I can put down on them or something? I haven't used any wax products yet.. because I don't want them to turn yellow. But, will a wax product form a barrier over the edges of the tiles? Thanks in advance, lucy |

If the tiles are installed properly the distance between them is so
small that water hardly has a chance to get in, and whatever water is there would evaporate rather than seep downward. I would guess that something like Mop and Glow would provide a little more protection. |
