New house 1 yr inspection?

We bought a new construction house about a year ago. We are coming up
on our 1 year warranty and need to make up a list of repairs needed to
submit to the contractors. Would it be a good idea to hire a home
inspection service? How do you know which ones are good (I'm in NJ)?
About what do they charge for this type of service?
