![]() A few years ago GE recalled a huge number of dishwashers that were prone to starting fires, offering people a rebate on a new GE dishwasher, but no repair option, at least not until the Federal Consumer Product Safety Commission forced them to offer a repair option as well a year or so later. NY State's attorney general brought and won a class action lawsuit against GE forcing them to reimburse consumers who went out and bought dishwashers before the repair option for the cost of the new dishwasher. I was (or should have been) part of that class action but never received any notice about it and was just wondering if there's anyone else out there who bought the new dishwasher during that time before the repair option became available, lives in NY State, yet is not receiving reimbursement from this class action. Thanks. |
