2x4 sister joist

Hi, I'm planning to build a leaving space on the second floor of my barn but I need few inches to make it work, right now I have 2X6 joist on a 18" span.

Question.
Can I sister 3 2X4 joist with a 10" span to get some inches for the hight of the room?
