Cannot remove Kohler bath drain plug
Hello,
I have a Kohler bath tub drain plug (1997-8) in my bathrooms. See picture below: http://www.geocities.com/rkannan55/100_0261.JPG It is closed by rotating it (clockwise or counter-clockwise) and it falls into place retaining water. I need to remove it for clearing blockage and I seem to have forgotten how to do it. Rotating or pulling it out does not seem to help. I do not have the model # but the drain coverplate has the word 'Gerber' on it. Any hep is appreciated |

You'll have to get down and peer at the underside of the disk which seals the drain to see and access it. -- Bert Hyman St. Paul, MN |

I found the screw underneath. I have a tub with one of those and it always get plugged up. Apparently no one at Kohler washes their hair. I ended up just not tightening the screw so it can easily be removed. |
