I have an upper level that's around 700 - 800 square feet.

I'm calling around now that it's getting a bit cooler (Canada) to see
if there are any values out there,
I'm wondering what the general process is to put one in, and can I
save a bit on it if I'm handy and
install it myself.

What is the best value in these types of air conditioners? They've
been used for a long time outside of North America
and I have a sense they are over-priced here because they are
relatively new.
