Default enclosing a covered lanai

We hope to enclose our lanai with a metal framing wall and aluminum
sliding door and I need to draft plans for building permit approval.
The ceiling of the lanai is covered by the house trusses. I need to
know how to find details of attaching the metal framing to a 17 yr old
concrete floor. We are in FL so moisture is a concern. Is there a
place on the web to find details on the vapor barrier, types of
nailing/screwing to the floor, sealants, etc. that I can see so I know
how to detail it on my plans? I'd like to use wood but the husband
wants metal can anyone give insight as to challenges of either too?
Thanks.
