Vchlorin Pool Salt Chlorinators
Hello,
I'm wondering, does anyone have any experience with a company called "Ti Anode Fabricators" aka "Vchlorin"? They supposedly manufacture salt chlorinator systems and replacement cells. http://www.vchlorin.com/replacement.htm Before I send this company any money, I'd like to hear from someone who has dealt with them. Thanks. Regards, Joe |

I have no experience with the company you mentioned but I did learn
something recently about salt chlorinator systems recently. I needed some minor tile repair and I called my trusty repair guy. He used to work for the company that built my pool and he squirreled away lots of trim tiles. While he was over, I asked him about salt chlorinator systems in general (having just forked over about $70 for a 25lb bucket of 3"tabs). He told me not to get them because the maintenance on all the other pool components goes sky high. Pumps, Polaris (or whatever pool cleaner you have), filters, and especially heaters have much shorter life spans in salt water than they do in regular chlorinated fresh water. He said the money saved buying salt and the salt chlorinator systems VS Chlorine is more than offset by the added parts and maintenance of the rest of your pools components. He told me to just keep buying chlorine tabs. wrote in message oups.com... Hello, I'm wondering, does anyone have any experience with a company called "Ti Anode Fabricators" aka "Vchlorin"? Thanks. Regards, Joe This is true, I speak from experience. We did it initially for the health benefits, spring before last, because my husband, once he gets in the pool he will camp out there for a while, and chlorine is harmful to soak in (heart). I just do laps and get out, tho. But, it IS more expensive than chlorine. Some days I wish we didn't even have the pool. lucy |

We found out about this from his doctor, though. lucy |

Whatever you do, don't send Ti Anode Fabricators, or whatever they call
themselves, any money. As far as I'm concerned, they're lying, cheating *******s. I recently tried to buy a Vchlorin pool chlorinator cell from them. According to the terms, delivery was supposed to be in 10 days; yet three weeks have now elapsed and I have neither the cell nor my money back. After receiving my money, they promptly stopped responding to email. I then called them several times, and all they did was tell lies. They wouldn't even acknowledge if they had received the money I sent. I suppose there's a small chance I may still get the part someday, but as of now, I've given up on them. BTW I understand that Australian made chlorinators are better than the ones made in India anyway, so if you're going to buy one, you're probably better off going to one of the Australian vendors. wrote: Hello, I'm wondering, does anyone have any experience with a company called "Ti Anode Fabricators" aka "Vchlorin"? Don't send Vchlorin or Ti Anode Fabricators (or whatever they call
themselves) any money. Basically, they're dishonest, unreliable *******s, to put it charitably. I tried to buy a salt chlorinator replacement cell from them, and after I sent them money, they basically stopped responding to my emails. They failed to deliver the cell within the time frame they agreed to, and refused to even talk about it. As of now, they've had my money for almost two months, yet I still have no chlorinator cell. I've been told that the Australian made chlorinators are better than the ones from India anyway, so even if the people at Vchlorin or whatever they call themselves weren't the *******s they are, their products are supposed to be inferior and thus not worth buying on that fact alone. Consider an Australian vendor like esplash. wrote: Hello, I'm wondering, does anyone have any experience with a company called "Ti Anode Fabricators" aka "Vchlorin"?
