Over the last couple of days, we've measured the voltage in our
house as 130V to 135V, and it stays that way for several hours before going back down to 120V. Is this within normal values or is it a problem? It's been causing the computers' UPSs to shutdown, which is how we noticed this in the first place. We've called the power company, but the only way they'll answer this question is to charge us $80 for one of their technicians to come out, and there's no guarantee the voltage will be up when they come. Thanks, Laura |
