Default Where did my extra Principal payments go?

I recently re-financed my house and I am wondering where my extra
payments went to.
I re-financed with CountryWide, who I had the original loan with. I am
sending an email to the loan officer about this too but would like some
ammo if he comes back with a lame answer.

Did you mark the extra money as "principle only"? Or, did you just pay
extra payments?

They are in my account. And I'm keeping them.

Idiot.

How would we know. We didn't get your loan statements. Where do YOUR
statments SAY they went? Did you instruct them that the funds were to
be applied to Principal? Yes indeed, loan companies or banks do
sometimes **** up, THAT'S WHY you check your statements. (But I wager
that more often it is the homeowner who screws up by not giving proper
instructions and not noticing that in their paperwork it says maybe
that extra $ will go to Escrow unless instructed otherwise...

By now is a little late to ask.

And here is the wrong place.

Solly Chollie.
