culligan N8 water conditioner problems
I am having problems getting my N8 Water Conditioner to work correctly,
and I was hoping that someone could give me a list of things to check. The Water Conditioner worked fine when we first moved in three years ago, but I fixed that by adjusting the number of recharges and amount of salt used in pounds. Back then there was just two of us in the house, not five like the previous owners. I used the chart in the Culligan manual that came with the house, but it seems the calculations were off because since then the water has been hard. I figured that I would fix the problem by switching the settings back to the way they were. Didn't work. I cranked the amount of salt used up to 12 lbs per recharge. Nothing. Increased the amount of recharges from two in a six day period to everyday. Still nothing. I also increased the backwash time to fifteen minutes (up from the ten minute default). Does anyone have any ideas on what could be up? Thank you for your time, Brian |
