Toro Recycler Mower (Guaranteed To Start?)
I have a Toro Recycler Mower with a "Guaranteed To Start"
engine. The mower is self-propelled with an electric start and is about a year and a half old. It is very difficult to start the mower the first time, either by electric start or by pulling the cord. Once I get it started the first time, it is no problem to restart after emptying the bag. Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be the culprit? Thanks very much. |

Most people with start problems like this push the primer button several times each and every time they fail to start the mower/snowblower, and that fouls the sparkplug, which then can't spark to ignite the fuel. Vicious cycle. Replace the sparkplug and don't overprime. |
