Sony STR-D990 Receiver

I have a SONY STR D990 Receiver. Sometimes when I try to power off the unit
using the Power button it does not turn off but instead shows the message
"MAIN DRLC" but if I use a remote control to power off then it works.
Anyone knows the reason?
