I have never seen them, but I have been saying for years that
someone should build them. As I bet they would sell many of them.

I suppose the problem is there are so many different battery shapes
available. A lot of design for only a few sales.

Yes, just perfect for those whom sells clone batteries for every make and
model. I see this as a million dollar market. Heck maybe a billion dollar
market.

But then batteries fail more often than power sockets.

Or surely someone would have designed them?
