Default Magnetic Card reader.

Hello,

I've been assigned the task of creating ID badges with id data
stored on magnetic strips. the lab is already outfitted with card
readers and i've written software to log activity but i need a way to
write to the cards without spending the $200 on a new card writer.
any suggestions? i'd prefer to have all three of the strips writable
for further expansion of the system.

Thankyou!

You are kidding, right? You can't spend $200 for the writer?

Default Magnetic Card reader.

check how much the reader did cost and then think how much will cost
the writer to it.
Only the magnetc head for a common card reader costs some 70 usd where
I get them from. Then the rest of the mechanic and electronics and
such reader might be well few hunhdred usd.
