Does anyone have recommendations on USB oscilloscopes? I'm hoping to stay
within a sub $500 price range, and would like the sample rate to allow at least 100MSamples per channel with simultaneous 2 channel operation. I stumbled upon the Velleman PCSU1000, and it looked like a good deal for the money, but then a couple people complained that their scopes arrived DOA while others claim it works great for them. Does anyone have experience with the Velleman scopes, or any other USB scopes? I'm running a WinXP machine, so it would have to be compatible with that OS. If it comes with a programmable DLL, even better. Mark |

An additional comment... I was assuming 100MSamples per second at a realtime
capture rate, rather than multi-sampled over time. So, yeah, something around 20MHz realtime, or faster. The sample rates for it don't go as high as you want, but they might have other models that can do what you need. http://www.tiepie.com |
