I have a pincushion problem with my Sony 500ps monitor. I had a power
surge and when I rebooted I have pronounced pincushion and can only correct it by adjusting to "0" in the adjustments, and I still have some distortion. When I attempt to play a game it reverts to a lesser resolution and the error magnifies. This happened once before and a few weeks later the problem corrected itself so I have hopes however unfounded that it is correctable. Other than the obvious suggestion to buy a UPS for the future, does anyone have a suggestion as to what the problem might be? I found on reference to bad "caps" but I am not very bright and don't have a clue what that means. Thanks for any help |
