Dont have the model but remember it was a 1999 year . When i push the
power button the screen comes on for 3 seconds with wide bands of snow
across the screen then it powers off . This repeats as many times as the
power is turned back on .
Any ideas ? I heard it is a bad screen

There's no way of knowing without looking at it, take it in to a shop for an
estimate.
